Our redefined 'Core Purpose' is to "challenge conventional thinking and innovatively use all our resources to drive positive change in the lives of our stakeholders and communities across the world, to enable them to RISE". Our CSR team works diligently with the Rural Authorities and NGO Partners for implementing sustainable projects like skill development, women empowerment, Plantations drives, Cleanliness Drives to name a few in fourteen villages adopted by MWCJ surrounding our campus. Most of projects are more than five years old, and I am very proud when I see the positive change around me"
Brief Company Introduction
Mahindra World City, Jaipur (MWCJ) is an integrated business city focused on creating economic centres of development and new urban nodes. MWCJ is a joint venture between Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. and the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd (RIICO), an agency of the Government of Rajasthan. MWCJ provides a holistic environment, enabling all aspects of Livelihood, Living & Life. Sustainability is a critical component of its development plan. MWCJ is proud to be Asia's 1s t and world's largest project to be reach Stage 2 of C40 Climate Initiative, a global benchmark for creating sustainable, carbon positive cities of the future. MWCJ is working together with Govt. of Rajasthan in contributing to drive industrialization initiatives for Rajasthan by attracting investments, generating employment, contributing to exports and providing long term solutions to the urban challenges we face today.

Vocational Skill Development
MWCJ has partnered with Technology Business lncubator-KIET, promoted by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, to design skill development programs and for creating knowledge based enterprise & creation of job opportunities through innovation & entrepreneurship and also market oriented skilled,
training rural personnel to meet outthe requirement of industries thereby uplifting the economics status & livelihood of the people. The Skill development trainings include: Electrical, Security, Basic Computer & English Speaking Classes, Mobile & Automobile Repairing and Housekeeping Training. The total number of trainings is 960 as on 31st March 2016.
With a view to achieve inclusive development, MWCJ took initiative of bringing out the talents hidden behind the veils. The idea was to provide vocational/ skill training as this would lead to boarder economic impacts in households. The focus Area - Education, Vocational Training & Socio-Economic empowerment of Women by providing socio-economic stability for women. Training for formation of Self Help Groups were designed for rural women and they are trained in stitching, beautician and basic primary education. The good impact of the SHG's is the empowering of women on the socio-economic front. With the introduction of the internal loaning system they can apply for an internal loan within the SHG and utilize the same for purchase of new sewing machines, beauty products and personal use. There are 5 SHG's which have the internal loaning capacity of above Rs. 50,000/-.There are 80 SHG's formed till date comprising of 800 women.
Mahindra Hariyali Tree Plantation Drive
is the Mahindra Group's endeavour to tackle the twin challenges of climate change and sustainability. Mahindra Hariyali is a testament to the spirit of our commitment to sustainable growth and adding positively to our environment. We also monitor survival rates and undertake replacement of saplings as and when required. This extra green cover, in addition to providing livelihood and nutritional security, will also enhance the wildlife habitat value and biodiversity of the region. Through this initiative, team members and volunteers have got an opportunity to make a huge impact on the environment, as well as society. We have planted total of 24955 trees till date.
Mukya Mantri Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan
MWCJ has partnered wit h Rajasthan State Government for their project to create a water sustainable Rajasthan and make villages self-reliant even during drought periods by providing a permanent solution to the demand of drinking water. 15 Villages have been identified for this project around the MWCJ Campus.
MWCJ conducts medical camps for our neighbouring villages to monitor health, physical development & malnutrition issues under the preventive health care initiative. Based on the request of the village Phanchayats. Every year we conduct 3-4 Medical Camps, which include specific camps like Eye Camps, Dental Camps etc. The total number of beneficiaries is between 75-100 people per camp. We also conduct Blood Donation drives.
Clean India Campaign
This activity was initiated in 2013, when the Prime Minister announced the Clean India Campaign. The idea is to create awareness about keeping our surrounding clean, avoid using plastic and polythene bags. The motto was "Cleanliness with awareness". We also help in cleaning therural areas in and around MWCJ Campus including the Government Schools. Tips are given on "Waste Management", and how to separately dispose of various types of garbage for e.g. Paper waste, food waste and plastic waste. We also educated the people aboutthe illness and diseases that spread due to living in unhygienic surroundings. We also distribute dustbins are common public places and school and have also got toilets constructed at Government College.
