Mahindra World City participates in Jaipur Architecture Festival

Mahindra World City, Jaipur participated in Jaipur Architecture Festival held from 29th Jan to 1st Feb 2015. The event was jointly organized by Center for Development of Stones (CDOS) and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) with Indian Institute of Architects (IIA)
The Jaipur Architecture Festival is a platform for new ideas, celebration, discourse, contemplation & exploration. The first edition of this Festival from 29th Jan to 1st Feb was being held concurrent to the 8th India Stone Mart festival scheduled during the same period at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) Jaipur. The 2015 Festival explores a range of ideas about future cities, the environment, architecture, the practice and education & the rich stone traditions. On the third day of the festival Mr. Sanjay Srivastava – COO Mahindra World City chaired a session on New Forces Shaping the Cities in a Globalized World. Mr. Srivastava highlighted the challenges of rising urbanization, the forces that determine the changes and the need to address the challenges in due time. He also stressed on the growing need of Smart cities and the apparent thrust of government to have smart cities and smart development & seeing it through the frame of Mahindra World City. The Mahindra Way of urbanization, how Mahindra World City has aligned itself to the concept of smart development even way before the Govt. realized the need to have one. Conceptualized as an Integrated City, Mahindra World City is driving all round growth providing a holistic environment, enabling life, living and livelihood.
The session was well attended by Policy makers, investors, industry leaders, trade bodies & association and entrepreneurs. Through the event Mahindra World City cemented its position as a “Thought Leader†driving positive change.
