Bharatiya Skill Development Campus in MWC Jaipur
In tune with Skill India initiative, Bharatiya Skill Development Campus (BSDC) based on Swiss Dual Model, the largest skill development campus in country was inaugurated by Smt. VasundharaRaje, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan on 23 April 2016 at Domestic Tariff Area, Mahindra World City, Jaipur. Sh. Surendra Pal Singh TT, State Minister (Independent Charge), Labour, Skills & Employment, Entrepreneurship, Factories & Boilers and Dr. KailashVerma, MLA, Bagru were the guests of honour on the occasion. The function was also graced by Sh. Tanmay Kumar, IAS, Secretary to honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan; Sh. Rajat Mishra, IAS, Secretary, Skills and Employment Department; Sh. Gaurav Goyal, IAS, MD, RSLDC; Sh. Gajanand Sharma, OSD in Chief Minister’s Office; and Sh. Naveen Sharma, Deputy General Manager, RSLDC.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister along with esteemed dignitaries visited each section of the Polymechanic block and inquired in detail regarding the vocational education and skill training model of BSDC based on Swiss Dual System. Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister said, “A dual skill development system is the need of the hour so that youngsters can be trained according to the needs of the industry and this will open up several avenues of employment for themâ€Â
BSDC signed an MoU worth Rs. 200 crore with the Rajasthan government to set up the first skill development university under PPP mode to support, promote and advance High Quality Skill Development Education to the youth and link the education to employability and entrepreneurship which in turn will contribute to a better tomorrow for the youth of India.
