Downtown MWC, the hostel for single working professionals was inaugurated at MWC Chennai on August 30, 2016. Strategically located near the Canopy and just opposite the MWC Club, the hostel offers 250 rooms for long and short term stays for working professionals and corporate guests. Developed by M/s.SSBM Realty and Hospitality Pvt Ltd, Downtown MWC, spans over 1.1 lac sqft of Built up Area and has exclusive blocks for Ladies and Gentlemen. Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd is the anchor Client of Downtown MWC

Downtown MWC was inaugurated by Mr Rajeshwar Tripathi, Chief People Officer, AFS – Mahindra & Mahindra in the presence of Mr Syed Majeed , MD, SSBM Realty and Hopitality , Mr. Vivek Sharma, Business Head, Mahindra World City, Chennai; Mr Sriniwas Aravapalli ; Sr VP, Auto Sector, Product Development, Mahindra & Mahindra and other senior officials from Mahindra & Mahindra and MWC Chennai.

All Guests at Downtown MWC will have a choice of Single or Twin sharing rooms, equipped with all the modern conveniences for a secure and comfortable living.

Individual rooms are furnished with Split AC units ; LED TV with DTH connections ; Wardrobes with Loft Storage ; Cots with Spring Mattress ; Working Desks with Chairs. The Hostel also offers other facilities and amenities such as Professional House Keeping; Centralised Solar Hot water system with Electrical Heater backup ; Standby Generator for full power backup. The entire complex is WIFI enabled and secured 24*7 with Security guards as well as CCTV systems.
